General and Cosmetic Dentistry
Preventative care, restorative care, and maintenance.
Dental bonding is a treatment option that can be both restorative and cosmetic. Composite resin material is used to rebuild parts of a tooth that have either decayed or chipped. Bonding helps preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
When a significant part of a tooth is affected by decay or a fracture then a crown or “cap” will rebuild and protect the tooth. Crowns can wrap around the whole tooth, or part of the tooth in the case of inlays, onlays, partial crowns and veneers.
If several or all teeth are missing on one arch, a partial or complete denture can restore those missing teeth. Dentures can be supported by the remaining teeth, gums, or implants.
If the nerve and blood supply to the tooth is affected by decay or inflammation, endodontic therapy or a “root canal” will remove the affected tissues and replace them with a natural rubber.
Implants are root replacements for missing teeth in areas with healthy bone. Implants are restored with either crowns, bridges or removable dentures.
Crowded, crooked and misaligned teeth can be moved by gentle forces applied over time with orthodontic therapy. Clear aligners are an alternative to conventional braces in mild to moderate cases.
